Nominations open: uni begins gearing up for PGC election campaign

Nominations for various positions on the 2023 Postgraduate Council will open on July 25. All current members of the PGC are eligible to nominate and vote. 

Nominable roles include: 

  • President of the PGC 
  • General Secretary 
  • Vice President Research  
  • Vice President Coursework 
  • Vice President International  
  • Vice President Equity 
  • Canberra Campus Officer 
  • Paddington Campus Officer 
  • Research Committee Liaison 
  • Coursework Committee Liaison  
  • International Committee Liaison 
  • Equity Committee Liaison 

Nominations close on August 4, with a month-long campaigning period to follow before online voting is held from September 12-15. 

Only UNSW Students are permitted to participate in campaigning for the election.  

An online information session will be held on July 28 regarding the elections.
