Cafe review by Rachel White
If you ever find yourself between classes, hungry, craving caffeine and on upper campus, you are about to discover the answer to all your food and drink-related prayers. No longer will you have languish in the humongous line at the coffee cart or miserably munch on day-old chicken wraps from the food court. A short (by short, I mean relatively long) stroll up High Street will bring you to Belmore Rd, turn left and keep walking until you reach no. 154. Don’t worry, all this exercise will make you appreciate what you are about to consume all the more. Here you will discover Randwick’s best – strong, well-made Campos coffee, delicious muesli biscuits and a plethora of freshly made sandwiches and salads. You can create your own roll or wrap at the counter, or order one of the many freshly made salads, open-grilled sambos or pies from the menu. Portions are generous, so if you are as impoverished as me, grab an equally povo friend and share!
